I started writing my short story yesterday, and the word count is over 4,000. It exceeds the character limit on a BBS post. I'll need to post it to the thread in 4 parts, otherwise can I share it as a drop box link in PDF format?

Now I don't think I saw a question here, but if we already have an ongoing original series, could a story be created with it? I have a writing anthology series and was wondering if creating a new story for it could work as a submission for this contest.
As long as the contents of the story is original to you and doesnt contain anything from other series. I don't see why not. ^^

I really want to join since I had a pre-existing essay that I made for a contest that Im planning to revise for this, but in the case of me being one of the winners, I cannot legally claim the prize yet. Is there an alternative prize for this situation?

Hey, I have a question. What's the true stretch for the 5000 word limit? Because my story currently stand at 5115 words, but I think if I'll optimize it I have to let important stuff out
5000 words is the hard limit on words. No more, but you can have less.
